The #1 thing to do is go to the beach! Long Beach features a long boardwalk for a fun walk or bike ride. You can also find rental chairs and umbrellas along the Boardwalk.

On weekends in June, anyone over 13 needs a pass for the beach. Depending where you stay you may be provided one or you can purchase one online for $15.

Be ready to join in Blair and Ben's (likely) life-long debate between CA and NY beaches! (Ben says he gets the first point here due to the $15 beach pass.)

Long Beach has great surfing! Skudin Surf offers super fun lessons for all ages and abilities. 10/10 would recommend. Semi-private lessons are around $75/person and the company provides everything you need. For the more advanced among us, this company also offers board rentals.

The #2 thing to do is eat and drink (ideally combined with #1). Luckily, we'll be eating and drinking together all weekend, but if you have some free time, here are some of our favorite spots.
